1898 Outcrops staked.
1898-1901 Opened up by Van Anda Copper and
Gold Company;
shaft sunk to 260 feet. Stoped above 160-foot level.
1901-1902 Leased and operated by the
Northwest Company, an American syndicate.
1902-1905 Under bond to an English
company; shaft sunk to 560 feet.
Exploratory drifting on 160, 260, and 360-
foot levels.
1906 Leased for a short time by an
American company.
1908-1910 Worked under lease by Dr. Tanger
of Seattle.
1912 A local syndicate dewatered mine and
did some exploratory work.
1900-1914
Crude ore shipped to the Tacoma Smelter
8,300 tons.
